After a few calm weeks, a new name to flag: Psynio (psynio.com).
It barely registered in our data until now -- close to zero. This week it jumped into the top 15 sites that show up when someone searches for a therapist. That kind of leap, from nowhere to real visibility in a hurry, is exactly the pattern we watch for. Sometimes it's a legit directory that finally got indexed; sometimes it's a scraped site that's hoovered up a pile of therapist profiles without anyone's say-so.
Here's the odd part: as of this writing, the whole Psynio site returns a 500 error. Hard to say what happened, or whether the two things are even related -- but a domain that surges into search one week and won't load the next is a strange combination.
So for now it's just the data raising a flag. We haven't dug into who runs it or where the listings came from, so no claims -- just an eye on it. If you came across Psynio before it went down (or found your own profile on it), we'd love to hear about it. Provider Wire ticked up a bit too, though nothing like Psynio's jump.
A timing note: this is a back-published edition. We paused this spring after a death in the family; the searches kept running, so the data's all here, and AI is helping us catch up on the writing.

The familiar two are unchanged: LinkedIn the most visible site for therapists, Psychology Today owning the top of the page. The thing that stands out lower down is the new arrival, Psynio, now sitting mid-table after being nowhere a few weeks ago.

No change in who runs the show. Psychology Today still holds close to half of the #1 spot for therapist searches, with LinkedIn filling much of the middle of the first page.
