Appearance Scores
Average Positions

Note: Appearance Score is how frequently this website shows up (so a higher number means it's more popular or common), while Average Position is where in those search results this website is displayed (so a lower number means it's higher up on the page and more likely to be clicked).

Psynio came out of nowhere. One week it had essentially no presence in our data, and the next it had jumped into the top 15 for therapist searches — the kind of overnight leap that usually means a big batch of pages suddenly got indexed.

And it's a big batch: their per-city pages advertise enormous therapist counts (11,000+ listed for New York City alone, thousands more per major metro), which points to a directory built by bulk-aggregating provider data rather than therapists signing up one by one.

Here's the strange part. Not long after it surged, Psynio dropped back out of the rankings entirely — and as of this writing, the site itself returns a server error and won't load. We can't say what happened, or whether the two things are connected. A directory can rank strongly one week and be gone the next for all sorts of reasons. But it's an odd arc for a site that, briefly, was one of the more visible names in therapist search results.

Worth another look if it comes back online. (It currently returns a 500 error.)

Note: These statistics are intended to highlight broad patterns we've observed when searching for therapists by name. While we use a consistent methodology and a reasonable sample size, the results are not exhaustive. They may not reflect every search variation, every geographic region, or every change in search engine algorithms. This information should be viewed as a general snapshot, not a definitive or complete record. (And if you have ideas on how we can make our analysis even better, we'd love to hear them!)

Quill Therapy Solutions

About Quill: Quill helps therapists write clear, accurate, and professional therapy progress notes in less time. You record (or write) a brief session summary, and Quill formats those important details into a well-written note -- so you can focus on your clients, not your paperwork. And importantly, Quill does not record therapy sessions, so you don't have to sacrifice your ethics or your clients' privacy.

Also, therapists can now create their own custom documentation templates -- so whether it's an intake assessment, custom progress note format, or literally any other type of documentation, Quill has you covered.
