Therapist Search Result Trends for Welli

These graphs help show the general trend of how often and where welli.com is included in search results for specific therapists.

Appearance Scores
Average Positions

Note: Appearance Score is how frequently this website shows up (so a higher number means it's more popular or common), while Average Position is where in those search results this website is displayed (so a lower number means it's higher up on the page and more likely to be clicked).

Welli's historical search data paints an interesting picture. For a long stretch, the site didn't show up in therapist-related searches at all. Then, around early 2026, it started making a small appearance. The numbers were modest at first, with the site showing up in a tiny fraction of searches and landing in lower positions on results pages.

By mid-2026, Welli's presence grew noticeably. Its appearance score climbed steadily, and while its average position in search results wasn't exactly front-and-center, it did improve a bit. This suggests that Welli might be gaining some traction, though it's still far from being a dominant player in this space.

Welli is more of a consumer health app than a pure therapist directory, but it clearly maintains provider profiles (including therapists) and wants those profiles to be found in search — its own pitch to providers is about getting "found by the right patients on every platform they search for care." Providers can claim their profile for free, which suggests the profiles exist first and the claim comes later. We haven't verified how the initial listings are sourced. It surfaced from near-zero around the same time as another newcomer, climbed sharply, and lingered a little longer before fading back out. Another short-lived riser rather than an established fixture, but one to keep an eye on given the "claim your profile" model.

Overall, the data suggests that Welli is in the early stages of becoming relevant in therapist-related searches. It's not a major player yet, but the upward trend could indicate that it's starting to carve out a niche for itself.

Note: These statistics are intended to highlight broad patterns we've observed when searching for therapists by name. While we use a consistent methodology and a reasonable sample size, the results are not exhaustive. They may not reflect every search variation, every geographic region, or every change in search engine algorithms. This information should be viewed as a general snapshot, not a definitive or complete record. (And if you have ideas on how we can make our analysis even better, we'd love to hear them!)

Quill Therapy Solutions

About Quill: Quill helps therapists write clear, accurate, and professional therapy progress notes in less time. You record (or write) a brief session summary, and Quill formats those important details into a well-written note -- so you can focus on your clients, not your paperwork. And importantly, Quill does not record therapy sessions, so you don't have to sacrifice your ethics or your clients' privacy.

Also, therapists can now create their own custom documentation templates -- so whether it's an intake assessment, custom progress note format, or literally any other type of documentation, Quill has you covered.
