Therapist Search Result Trends for PsychFAQ

These graphs help show the general trend of how often and where psychfaq.com is included in search results for specific therapists.

Appearance Scores
Average Positions

Note: Appearance Score is how frequently this website shows up (so a higher number means it's more popular or common), while Average Position is where in those search results this website is displayed (so a lower number means it's higher up on the page and more likely to be clicked).

Well, this is an interesting one. A therapist brought this website to our attention, as she noticed that she had a profile listed their without her permission and that profile was written in the first-person. Taking a closer look, it appears that all profiles on this website are written in the first-person.

If you look at the graphs above, this website did not show up in search results prior to September 2025, despite us running this analysis prior to then. That is also curious, as suddenly in September it surges to showing up in over 5% of searches for therapists and at a very solid position of ~20ish.

Looking even closer, here's what we found:

  • According to ICANN, this domain was registered in May 2025. So it's quite new!
  • When we first became aware of this website, we calculated that there were ~57,000 therapist profiles on this website. This was on September 10th, 2025. And now, here we are on September 15th, 5 days later, and... we calculate that there are ~74,000 therapist profiles! It's... grown by 17,000 therapists in 5 days?

This website is curious, to say the least. And definitely worth of our collective attention!

Note that I got to this estimated number of therapist profiles by seeing that they list 12 therapists per page in their directory, and they had 4,771 pages (on September 10th) and now 6,213 pages (on September 15th).

Note: These statistics are intended to highlight broad patterns we've observed when searching for therapists by name. While we use a consistent methodology and a reasonable sample size, the results are not exhaustive. They may not reflect every search variation, every geographic region, or every change in search engine algorithms. This information should be viewed as a general snapshot, not a definitive or complete record. (And if you have ideas on how we can make our analysis even better, we'd love to hear them!)

Quill Therapy Solutions

About Quill: Quill helps therapists write clear, accurate, and professional therapy progress notes in less time. You record (or write) a brief session summary, and Quill formats those important details into a well-written note -- so you can focus on your clients, not your paperwork. And importantly, Quill does not record therapy sessions, so you don't have to sacrifice your ethics or your clients' privacy.

Also, therapists can now create their own custom documentation templates -- so whether it's an intake assessment, custom progress note format, or literally any other type of documentation, Quill has you covered.
