Therapist Search Report

After weeks of sliding, the whole board recovered -- LinkedIn and Psychology Today jumped back up, and US News surged into the top 8 of therapist search results. This edition of the report was published on June 22nd, 2026

The Leaders Bounce Back

June 22nd, 2026 Edition

After a month of decline, the board finally turned around. LinkedIn jumped back up (its biggest one-week gain in a while), Psychology Today recovered a good chunk of its losses, and its share of the #1 spot climbed back up too. Most of the top domains rose together, which usually points to the search engine reshuffling the page rather than any one site making a move.

The other thing worth flagging is US News (usnews.com), which was the single biggest riser this week -- climbing into the top 8. Some readers may recall US News runs a therapist directory of its own; it's popped up before, but this is the strongest we've seen it. And Therapy Solutions for Kids held onto last week's jump, so its return wasn't a one-week blip.

A back-published edition from our spring catch-up, with AI helping on the writing.

Note: These statistics are intended to highlight broad patterns we've observed when searching for therapists by name. While we use a consistent methodology and a reasonable sample size, the results are not exhaustive. They may not reflect every search variation, every geographic region, or every change in search engine algorithms. This information should be viewed as a general snapshot, not a definitive or complete record. (And if you have ideas on how we can make our analysis even better, we'd love to hear them!)

Quill Therapy Solutions

About Quill: Quill helps therapists write clear, accurate, and professional therapy progress notes in less time. You record (or write) a brief session summary, and Quill formats those important details into a well-written note -- so you can focus on your clients, not your paperwork. And importantly, Quill does not record therapy sessions, so you don't have to sacrifice your ethics or your clients' privacy.

Also, therapists can now create their own custom documentation templates -- so whether it's an intake assessment, custom progress note format, or literally any other type of documentation, Quill has you covered.
