Last week, nearly every site in therapist search results dipped at once. This week, almost all of it came right back.
That's the reassuring version of events. When a whole field of sites drops together one week and recovers together the next, it's rarely about any one of them -- it's the search engine reshuffling the page, then reshuffling it back. A wobble, not a trend.
Facebook, which took the biggest hit, recovered a good chunk of it. (It's still down a little over the month, so it's not a full comeback -- but no need to read much into last week's drop.)
A quick note on timing: this is the second of the editions we're back-publishing after a pause this spring due to a loss in our family. The searches never stopped, so no data is missing -- and AI is helping us catch up on the writing. We appreciate your understanding. Grief stinks.

LinkedIn and Psychology Today are parked at the top, same as always -- LinkedIn the most visible overall, Psychology Today owning the very top of the page when someone searches for a therapist. Below them, most of the top domains nudged back up after the previous week's dip.

A near-perfect mirror of last week's report: where the biggest movers were all drops, this week they're nearly all gains. Leading the rebound are the NPI lookup site npiprofile and Facebook. No mystery directory rocketing up from nowhere this time -- just the previous week's dip undoing itself.

Unchanged where it counts. Psychology Today still holds the #1 spot for therapist searches by a wide margin. If your profile lives there, that result is almost certainly on page one of your name.
